240,000 Cases of Breast Cancer in Women Per Year

Yes I care abut your boobies but I care more about your life.

I have a few friends that are breast cancer survivors and am happy they're still here. So last year when one of them asked if I'd be interested in volunteering as a photographer for the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk in Newport Beach CA, how could I say no?

Even though my role wasn't a life saving measure I felt it was important to help any way I could so there I was, on location at 6:30AM to "work". Boy was I in for a surprise! I thought it would be such a formal somber affair. No these girls were there to celebrate their life, celebrate their recovery, celebrate the the lives of those lost and yes celebrate boobies and raise awareness.

The more boobies saved, the more lives saved.

I spent an enjoyable day photographing smiles and yes sometimes tears.
